EVENT: Delight in original designs, handmade crafts in Oaks

The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival returns to Halls A and B of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center March 16-18.

Family owned and operated since 1975, Sugarloaf Craft Festivals presents 11 annual events in five different locations. Because Sugarloaf’s philosophy is that there’s more to the arts than meets the eye, all vendors at every show can be found greeting visitors and sharing the personal stories behind their work. You can also watch live art demonstrations or participate in workshops where the artisans give you a taste of their craft. Demonstrations include wheel thrown pottery, wood turning and metal spinning. Sign up for a free painting class with Sugarloaf artist Kathy Small while you’re there.

More than 250 emerging and established independent artists and craftspeople from around the country will be at the expo center in Upper Providence Township with contemporary works to add to your collection or to give as gifts.
